About KORALI
Vocal group KORALI is an acapella singing group that promotes the Ukrainian choral singing tradition in the Netherlands. KORALI consists of music lovers who live and work in The Hague and its surroundings and enjoy singing together. Their repertoire mainly consists of arrangements of Ukrainian folk songs focusing on nature and love, as well as religious songs from the Ukrainian Greek Catholic mass.
The group participates in various cultural events and projects to spread Ukrainian vocal culture and strengthen ties between Ukraine and the Netherlands.
Ukrainian Diary
KORALI's performance takes place in the exhibition Ukrainian Diary by Boris Mikhailov. Ukrainian Diary is the largest retrospective in the Netherlands dedicated to the Ukrainian photographer and artist Boris Mikhailov.
KORALI's performance is part of the public program organized alongside the Ukrainian Diary exhibition. The exhibition and public program are made possible by the V-Fonds: the fund for freedom, democracy, and veterans.
